Request Data Deletion

OffGrid AI FieldGuide does not require an account and does not save your conversations, uploaded media, or generated images as an account history. You can still request deletion of feedback or content reports you chose to submit.

How To Request Deletion

  1. Email support@offgridaitoolkit.com with the subject OffGrid AI FieldGuide Data Deletion Request.
  2. Describe the feedback or content report you want deleted and include the approximate submission date and any wording that will help us identify it.
  3. We will confirm the request and delete identifiable matching feedback, content-report, or support records after we can reasonably identify and verify them, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or an active dispute.

What Is Deleted

A verified request deletes matching optional feedback or content-report records, including the category, details you entered, basic app context, and a reported AI response if you chose to include it.

What Is Not Stored As Account Data

Chat prompts, AI responses, uploaded photos, extracted video frames, visible faces that may incidentally appear in selected media, and generated images are processed transiently to complete your request but are not written to the OffGrid AI application database as saved conversation, face, or media history. Every iOS AI request uses a fixed provider allowlist, OpenRouter Zero Data Retention routing, and denied provider data collection. Android and web use the legacy OpenRouter Zero Data Retention route rather than the fixed iOS processor list. Under these routes, there is no server-side OffGrid AI prompt, photo, video-frame, or face record to delete after processing.

Withdraw AI Data Consent

iOS app: Open + menu > Privacy & AI Data > Withdraw AI Data Consent. This immediately blocks future AI and media transfers, withdraws the remembered contextual media consent, and clears currently selected media, pending Image Studio context, and the full active local conversation and media history before the consent screen is shown again. It does not delete files the user separately saved. You can also cancel the confirmation shown before the first selected photo or extracted video frames are sent.

Android and web: These experiences do not use the iOS named-provider consent control. You can clear local session and first-run state as applicable by starting a new chat, clearing the app or site storage, or uninstalling the app. You may always choose not to submit an AI request or selected media.

Automatic Retention

Anonymous daily usage counters contain a one-way network-address hash, dates, counts, and timestamps but no prompt or media content. They are automatically deleted after 31 days. Render service logs retain request path, network address, request ID, response timing and size, and user-agent data for up to 7 days; OffGrid AI intentionally excludes prompt text, response text, uploaded media, and generated-image content from application logs. Limited technical records may be kept longer only when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving an active abuse incident.

Files Saved To Your Phone

Images, PDFs, original videos, and other exports that you save remain on your device. You can delete them at any time using Photos or Files. Uninstalling OffGrid AI FieldGuide removes app-private data but may not remove files you separately saved outside the app.
